Today Eli went to the garden to take pictures. More sunflowers are blooming. The broccoli is starting to grow bigger and the chives are flowering. More sunflowers are starting to bloom and the tomatoes are starting to fruit.
Today Eli and Ian went to the garden to take pictures. There were lots of mushrooms growing in the garden. They noticed that two eggplants were bitten off by beatle bugs. The chili peppers are colorful colors like red, yellow and orange. They are growing well and some are ready to be taken and used for spice!
Today Ian, Eli, Bryce, Julia and Marichelle went to the garden and noticed that there were a lot of mushrooms there. The mushrooms are supposed to be good for the garden but there is just a whole bunch of them. There is also a vertical garden growing some vegetables in it.They saw that the cilantro got bent over by the wind and a carrot that got eaten by a snail.
Everything is going great in the garden, the Hawaiian chili peppers are starting to grow, tomatoes are starting to ripen and the basil is starting to heal as well as everything else.
It looks like the squash leaves are some what dying, they don’t look like they’re in good health and the carrots are not in good condition ether, they are getting stepped on and we don’t even have a clue of who goes back there.
During period 3, Eli went in the back of the garden doing our thing and when we went to see the kale, it looked like it really grew over the past days because during the salad bration the kale was small, and it wasn’t as small now it’s a pretty good size. The macadamia nut tree is ok, but it doesn’t get any water whatsoever, so Eli had to water it. Two ways to fix add a sprinkler there or move one closer.
The garden is going great and on our way there we saw a few chickens so that pretty much proves that the chickens have been eating the plants. In the near future we need to put up a fence or something to keep the chickens out. Like a greenhouse around the garden. Looking back on some pictures it looks like birds are coming through the garden as well for a snack.
Today there was a good breeze blowing through the garden and hopefully that’s why the plants grew faster than usual and also there was a perfect amount of water in each plot of soil for the plants.
